What is Engineering?

Engineering is the art of applying scientific and mathematical principles, experience, judgment, and common sense to make things that benefit people. Engineers design bridges, roads, factories, machines, telecommunication equipment, critical medical equipment as well as processes for cleaning up toxic pollution.So, engineering is the process of producing a technical product or system to meet a specific need.

Ans. We have set up laboratories, workshop etc with quality equipment to meet complete requirements of WBUT, Syllabus. Seminar hall, Library, Computer laboratory and class rooms have been set up as per the stipulations of AICTE

Whether hostel facilities are available?

Ans. Yes, Separate hostels for boys and girls are available. Beside this, few faculty quarters are also provided in the campus.

Do you provide transportation facility from Kolkata to the campus?

Ans. Yes, Transportation from various parts of Kolkata / Howrah will be arranged depending upon number of students availing such facility.

Whether students will be required to wear uniform?

Can the semester fees be paid in installments ?

What are the working hours in your college ?

Ans. College hours are from 10 AM to 5-30 PM with one hour lunch break. The college working days will be from Tuesday to Saturday
